Wildflower Apps

Privacy Policy

I created this wildflower app to be entirely self-contained, so it comes complete with built-in pictures and other information about plants in your state. This means it doesn't need an internet connection to work and should make a perfect companion while hiking in remote locations that lack cell phone coverage. It also means the app won't store or collect information about you or communicate with any other database or app.

I've found some people like to keep track of the plants they've seen, so I built a Plant List feature into the program. If you decide to use this feature, then the app will store your plant lists in text files. You can pass a Plant List to an email app which may send this list to an email address that you enter. Or you may have the email app send the Plant List to the PlantLists.org website. Other than these feature, the app doesn't communicate with outside sources.

I expect to create better versions of the app, and if I do that, the app will ask to update itself to the most current version.
