The plant observation records upon which the Wildflower Search programs are based have been produced by the work of tens of thousands of people working over the last century. Most of these records are provided only for non-profit applications and many come with a creative commons license. The number of people involved is too large to mention each by name. But the institutions involved are listed below.

The Plant Distribution Maps, the Elevation vs. Time of Observation Plots and the Habitat Graphs displayed in the Wildflower Search websites are copyrighted and licensed under this Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license. This means that if you copy any of these objects you can only use them in NonCommercial applications. Further, you must give credit to me (Steven K. Sullivan) and to all of the sources listed below. You must follow all of the terms of the Creative Commons license.
