Boulder Raspberry
Rubus deliciosus
Rose family (Rosaceae)
Boulder Raspberry is a large shrub with very showy large white flowers and bright green deeply veined foliage which turns yellows in the fall. The shrub produces a nice crop of which, even though edible, are not considered delectable by most. Folks plant Boulder Raspberry as an ornamental rather than a source for ice cream topping. The plant was first collected for science at the mouth of Boulder Canyon, Colorado, by Edwin James.
