Free Wildflower Apps
Apps are now available for most states and some Canadian provinces. These Apps use the
WildflowerSearch database. The Apps are self contained and do not use the internet.
Most of the Apps are more than 100Meg in size and require WiFi for installation.
Here are the Links to the store.

I update all of these apps about once a year.
The process of updating them takes about a week for the Android versions and another week for the Apple versions.
This year I was able to update the Apple versions. More plant photos and plant descriptions were added. An
improved plant list capability was also added. On the other hand, the Android versions were not updated.
The Android software that enables large apps such as these wildflower identification apps does not
compile with their latest development systems. They also seem uninterested in investigating this
problem. This leaves the Android apps quite out of date. Use an iPhone or iPad if you can.
